"Father Jan Kaczkowski's Children's Day" is a film about Father Jan Kaczkowski, who was marked by an incurable illness and called himself an "oncocelebrity". He fought for dignity and humanity for other people.
The titular "children's day" is a metaphorical term for the day he received his diagnosis. The film focuses on love for other people, the sick and the lost, for family, parents and God. It also speaks about the need to love and be loved.
The film was created from previously unknown archival materials and presents a true portrait of an extraordinary man.
