About this event
A book that tells the story of the twentieth century and the experience of totalitarianism through the history of a specific object—a woman's coat made of gabardine. Due to dramatic events during World War II and the post-war period, it passes from hand to hand. Numerous references to weaving and sewing make the book particularly interesting for residents of the Łódź region. The adaptation by Piotr Grobiński focuses on the personal experiences of the book's characters.
