Art, Łódź Wielu Kultur Festival. A site-specific intervention at the intersection of Narutowicza and Polskiej Organizacji Wojskowej streets, near Studio 18, a private apartment and the workshop of graphic artist Andrzej Chętka, known for a yearly light phenomenon visible only on September 11. The starting point is a true story of apartment coordinates that were mistakenly moved on maps in the 1980s from Łódź to Omsk in Siberia due to censorship error. Referencing this narrative, painter and graphic artist Ignacy Tybor will prepare an intervention in the space just below the windows of Studio 18. The event is part of the Guests cycle organized by the informal Galeria Czynna, connecting contemporary art with the history of local, unofficial artistic meeting places in Łódź.
