A year and a half ago, Pasza was simply a teacher: non-partisan, working in an ordinary state school, going to work and giving private lessons in the evenings and during holidays. Life was sufficient, everything else mattered little to him.
Last winter, things went completely wrong. Something changed in the air, as if electrified – everyone talked only about politics and watched news that was simply terrifying.
And now? Now Pasza must get Mały out of boarding school. Go pick him up from the very heart of hell.
Houses without voices, streets without light, squares without birds. Piercing cold felt through wet fur and silence, as if everyone had boarded a night train. On one side these people, on the other those people, unclear who is on whose side. One must simply act as quickly as possible.
