Meetings, Festiwal Łódź Wielu Kultur. This meeting accompanies the premiere of work by Daniel Kotowski, a Deaf visual artist and performer who in 2026 will represent Poland alongside Bogna Burska at the Venice Biennale of Art. The conversation addresses how the hearing majority establishes its own modes of communication as the norm, as well as the presence of sign language in art and the experience of Deaf culture. The meeting is led by curator Agata Siwiak, and the conversation will also cover threads of the artist's queer identity and the interweaving of various experiences.
