Kites for Peace | installation | Festiwal Łódź Wielu Kultur

Mały Festiwal, Festiwal Łódź Wielu Kultur. An installation and workshops created by French designer Victor Guerithault, stretched over Park Ocalałych as a symbol of peace and openness. Guerithault has long designed modular kite structures, combining architecture with the idea of collaborative creation, and has worked with Louis Vuitton and Hermès, among others. An integral part of the event are open kite-building workshops led by the artist – participants learn construction principles and create their own objects. The project is aimed at children, youth and families and requires no prior preparation. Workshops require registration; the installation itself is accessible to all in the open air.
