"Sign Language Games" | Workshops | Łódź Wielu Kultur Festival

Workshops as part of the Łódź Wielu Kultur Festival. Workshops for children led by Olga Romanowska, a deaf pedagogue and Polish Sign Language (PJM) interpreter who is herself Deaf. Hearing and deaf/Deaf children together learn basic PJM signs, participate in integration games and activities, and discover that communication can take many forms, and differences in how we communicate can become an inspiration for collaboration. Classes will take place in the space of the "Empathy Primer" exhibition at Centrum Dialogu and are conducted with PJM interpretation into spoken language, making them accessible to both hearing and deaf/Deaf children. They are designed for grades 1–3 of primary school, participation is free, but requires prior registration. Full festival program day by day: Festiwal Łódź Wielu Kultur on Dziś w Łodzi.
