Under the motto "Bats Without Secrets", Orientarium ZOO Łódź will host an event dedicated to bats. On Saturday, October 24, 2026, an educational stand will operate at Orientarium, opposite the orangutan enclosure.
Educators will present bat species living in Łódź zoo and those occurring in Poland. They will also discuss the role of these animals in nature, including their importance as pollinators. During the meeting, popular myths about bats will be explained, and visitors will hear interesting facts and be able to test their knowledge in an educational quiz.
At 12:00 in Pawilon Nocny there will be a bat feeding demonstration accompanied by an educator's stories about the lives of these animals.
