About this event
Silesia, 1934. Young miner Jaś, father of two young boys, learns that the coal mine where he works is to be flooded. He joins other workers in a strike, but the German management refuses to make any concessions. Soon the miners announce a hunger strike, and their families stage a demonstration at the mine gates, led by Erwin, a former Silesian uprising participant.
