Dance, Łódź Wielu Kultur Festival.
A samba workshop led by Brazilian dancer and choreographer Neemias Santana from Salvador da Bahia, the next installment of a series of meetings inspired by the figure of Yanka Rudzkka. Samba is treated here not as a set of steps to master, but as a rhythm, movement, and a way of being together, experienced jointly through body and music. No prior dance training is necessary – what matters is curiosity and readiness to move. The workshop draws on Rudzkka's fascination with the local dance traditions of Bahia, which she combined with contemporary dance language during her work in Brazil.
