A meeting with Anna Goc, author of the acclaimed reportage "Głusza", which explores the lives of Deaf/deaf people in Poland, told in the voices of the subjects themselves rather than from the perspective of hearing people. The conversation will cover the behind-the-scenes of the book's creation, the journalist's responsibility in representing minorities, and changes in public awareness of Deaf culture since its publication. The meeting is led by Izabela Adamczewska from the University of Łódź. The event is addressed to readers of the reportage, people interested in human rights and Deaf culture, as well as Deaf/deaf and hearing people themselves.
