1. Transatlantyk Festival
The festival's formula is merely a pretext for voicing opinions on topics very important to the contemporary world. World-class music and cinema meet in Łódź in order to use artistic form to speak out on pressing societal issues. Legendary and young creators from various corners of the world flock in large numbers to this July festival each year.
2. National Student Tourist Song Review YAPA
Its history dates back to 1974 — since then, lovers of sung poetry, author songs and folk have met at an event with the character of a song competition. Joint playing and singing gained recognition from the academic community, becoming strongly tied to the tradition of Politechnika Łódzka (Łódź University of Technology). It's not only great fun, but also a chance to take your first steps on stage!
3. Fotofestiwal
Lovers of another form of artistic expression — photography — have their own celebration during Fotofestiwal. The event has been organized since 2001 and attracts around 20,000 viewers each year. The event creators created a space for presenting various forms of photography. The exhibitions are accompanied by panel discussions, lectures and workshops.
4. Łódź Design Festival

5. International Comic and Games Festival in Łódź

Known until 1998 as the National Comic Creators Convention, MFKiG (International Comic and Games Festival) in Atlas Arena is visited by thousands of interested people every year. Games, contests and countless geeky gadgets — it's the largest event of this kind not only in Poland, but throughout Central and Eastern Europe.
6. Łódź City of Art. Energia Miasta Festival
It's hard to imagine today's Łódź without the breathtaking murals that adorn many buildings in the city's space. Energia Miasta Festival is organized by the Urban Forms Foundation and is dedicated to street art, murals and temporary sculptures. Participants can enjoy many dance and music performances, shows and projections.
7. Summer Jazz Academy — Legends of Polish and World Jazz
In the summer at the turn of July and August, Łódź resonates with jazz. Letnia Scena has the character of a Small Forms Theater Competition, thanks to which young, avant-garde and experimental creators can present their achievements.
