Colt Shooting Range

Colt Shooting Range is a covered sports shooting range in Bałuty, on the grounds of the former WUKO (Military Training Centre) at Okopowa. It is run by Colt Shooting Club as part of Top Shot Mikołajczyk-Wilman, and the facility combines ranges for handguns with an air rifle range.

How many ranges and what they are for

The facility has seven shooting ranges. The covered range at distances of 50, 25 and 10 metres has ten stations for pistol, and a separate 10-metre air rifle range has five stations for air rifle. This arrangement allows sport shooters and people learning to handle firearms to train in parallel.

Training and obtaining a licence

The range offers IPSC training and courses for adults, including assistance with formalities related to obtaining a firearms permit. There are also classes for children under instructor supervision, held on the air rifle range.

Beyond simply providing ranges, the company also assists with formalities related to obtaining a firearms permit, which distinguishes this range from places offering only station rental. The layout of the ranges makes the facility suitable for both sport shooting competitors and people encountering firearms for the first time. The air rifle range with five stations works well for introductory classes and youth groups, whereas ten stations on the covered range allow longer training sessions without queuing for a station.
