Colourful, illuminated fountains at the centre of Tadeusz Kościuszko Square, running seasonally, alongside dining terraces and monuments of the revitalised square.
Coloured, illuminated fountains are the central feature of plac Tadeusza Kościuszki [Tadeusz Kościuszki Square] in Tomaszów Mazowiecki, one of the main public spaces following revitalisation.
The square after redevelopment was divided into several zones: restaurant gardens, fountains, buildings, main plaza and monuments. The fountains form the visual centre of this composition, and after dark are illuminated with coloured light.
The fountains operate seasonally, in the warmer part of the year. On warm days they become an informal place for cooling off and family meetings, visited particularly eagerly by children.
Just next to the fountains stands the Evangelical-Augsburg Church of the Holy Trinity, the oldest church in Tomaszów Mazowiecki.
Near the square stands the former Knothe family townhouse, which today houses the Municipal Centre for Culture.
