A fountain shaped like a rosebud on Piłsudskiego Square, echoing Kutno's brand as the City of Roses, running seasonally with evening lighting.
The fountain on the market square stands on plac Piłsudskiego [Piłsudski Square], the main square of Kutno. Its shape is inspired by a rose bud, which is connected to the city's brand known as Kutno, City of Roses.
The fountain is operated seasonally, usually starting in spring along with other municipal fountains, and runs until autumn. In the evenings, the water is illuminated with coloured lighting, which is one of the reasons residents like to linger here.
On 14 August 2020, the fountain was restarted after a break related to the pandemic, following consultation with the sanitary authorities. Visitors were asked at that time to avoid crowding around the basin.
The fountain stands just by the market square in Kutno, the main square of the city.
Nearby stands the neoclassical House of the City Mayor.
