Mural "Vicious Delicious" - KENOR (Spain), 2011

The mural on Pomorska Street in Łódź was painted in 2011 by Spanish artist KENOR as part of the first edition of the Urban Forms Gallery festival. The wall is covered with geometric forms in a dynamic, abstract arrangement, bearing the title "Vicious Delicious".

Artist from Barcelona

Behind the pseudonym KENOR is Jonas Romero Romero, a street painter from Barcelona active since 1989. His recognisable style consists of geometric abstractions composed of sharp, dynamic forms.

Work without sketches

KENOR paints without a previously prepared design, guided by the rhythm of music listened to through headphones whilst working. This method is reflected in the composition of the mural in Łódź, where geometric shapes seem to arrange themselves spontaneously, without rigid planning.

Nomination and title of the work

The mural was nominated for an award for the best urban mural in Graffiti Art Magazine. The full title of the work, "Vicious Delicious", appears rarely, as in many places the work is described briefly as "KENOR 2011".

Part of the first Urban Forms edition

The mural was created during the first edition of Urban Forms Gallery, a project of the Urban Forms Foundation, which since 2011 has successively covered the walls of Łódź with works by street artists from around the world. In this same vein, among others, a mural by Okuda from Spain was created on a student residence of the University of Łódź, Okuda's mural from 2018.
