A year-round brine graduation tower with a geothermal water drinking hall on the meadows by the Warta river. A separate municipal investment offering natural inhalation therapy and mineral water tasting in a quiet, green setting away from the main town centre.
On ulica Jakuba Świnki [Jakub Świnka Street], on the meadows by the Warta river, stands a year-round brine graduation tower with a geothermal water drinking hall. This is a separate investment by the Uniejów municipality, physically distinct from the swimming pool complex Term Uniejów, despite the similar names at both locations.
Construction began in December 2022, and the facility opened to the public in 2024. The investment included both the wooden structure of the graduation tower and the accompanying geothermal water drinking hall, which the municipality set up on a separate site on ulica Jakuba Świnki, away from the Market Square and the Castle waterfront.
The walls of the tower are lined with hawthorn branches, down which brine flows from the borehole. The air around the structure becomes saturated with water droplets containing iodine and bromine, so a walk along the tower is considered a natural inhalation treatment, beneficial for the upper respiratory tract and easing allergy symptoms.
Next to the tower there is a drinking hall where visitors can sample geothermal water extracted from beneath Uniejów. This supplements the municipality's spa offer, combining open-air inhalation with drinking water from the same source used by Uniejów's thermal swimming pools.
The site is located near Zagroda Młynarska [Miller's Farm] with its windmills, surrounded by Warta river meadows and sports pitches. It is the quieter, greener part of Uniejów, about one kilometre from the Market Square, where the hot spring fountain stands.
