44. FST / "Rózia" (Mała Scena)

AT Warszawa production. Text by Rafał Wojasiński, directed by Jacek Braciak. Scenography and costumes by Kamila Bukańska. Cast: Alicja Bobruk, Michał Lupa, Aleksander Sajewski, Maja Szkutnik. Rózia, the protagonist of Wojasiński's drama, comes from our world but speaks and thinks differently. Is she brave or mad? The verdict is left to the audience. She is certainly indifferent to ordinary life's comforts. Meeting Rózia forces all the play's characters to confront questions about their own values. The drama addresses problems that are daily pushed to the margins by media noise and ready-made 'truths.'
