Still I Rise – Echoes of Time is a unique quartet program by Anna Gadt, a vocalist, improviser and composer from Kutno, also known in her hometown as Anna Stępniewska. A four-time Fryderyk nominee, the artist known primarily for bold and avant-garde musical projects, this time invites the audience into a world of beautiful songs and captivating jazz standards. The program includes the vocalist's favorite songs, including: "Here's to Life" by Shirley Horn, "Both Sides Now" by Joni Mitchell, "Why Should I Care" by Clint Eastwood, "Lawns" by Carli Bley, and "The Peacocks" by Jimmy Rowles. These musical references and atmospheres are what to expect for the evening.
