Baby Boom Bum Saturday 0-2

Baby Boom Bum at Filharmonia Łódzka is a music class for the youngest children, based on the concept of American musician, jazz artist and educator Edwin Eliass Gordon (1927-2015). Gordon believed that music should be treated like a language that people learn from the first moments of life, learn to understand it and use it to communicate with each other. He also emphasized that small children are the most receptive: "Those who know a lot about child development sometimes joke that they would like to die as small children, but no later than as soon as possible. They realize that learning abilities are never greater than at the moment of birth. Therefore, accepting that the most important period for learning is the time from the first moments after birth (and perhaps even before that) until the end of the third year of life, the child should be guided so that it receives unstructured, informal influences." Classes are led by certified instructors of the Edwin Eliass Gordon method.
