A film portrait of one of Poland's most outstanding film editors. Her name is most often associated with Kazimierz Karabasz, her husband and most important creative partner, with whom she edited nearly all of his films. She also edited films by Kieślowski, Kosiński, Halladin, Kamieńska, Majewski, Łoziński and many others. Editing – especially of documentary films – was her passion and life. For 50 years she sat at the editing table searching for the best solutions in the illuminated segments of film tape. The film combines the Artist's biography with reflections on the nature and essence of editing art, the specifics of documentary cinema, and the passage of time.
