"The Nutcracker. A Christmas Story"

"The Nutcracker. A Christmas Story" combines the classic ballet about little Clara's adventures with Charles Dickens' "A Christmas Carol", giving the familiar story new meaning. The production stands out for the grandeur characteristic of Hungarian choreographer Youri Vámos' style, visible in rich costumes, scenography and staging fantasy. The story of the Scrooge family—funny and full of emotion, while technically demanding for the ballet ensemble—interweaves with classic libretto elements and famous dance scenes: snowflakes, character dances and the renowned pas de deux. This is a production designed for whole families, yet ambitious enough to satisfy connoisseurs of ballet art.
