Shot on Super 8mm film. The documentary takes viewers to Paris, Venice, London, Madrid and Dublin, Iceland, Ireland, and Corsica. Haru: Island of the Lonely, dir. Kanerva Cederström, Riikka Tanner (1998) Tove Jansson and her long-term partner, graphic artist Tuulikki Pietilä, known as Tooti, spent their vacations for 20 years on the island of Klovharu in the Gulf of Finland. The documentary was created based on archival film material shot by Tuulikki Pietilä.
