Festiwal Książki Kropka + Kreska: workshops DOES IT STICK?!

A workshop exploring Polish language as a living landscape full of nuances, borrowed words, dialects, and personal expressions. Conversation may 'stick,' but do we always speak the same language? Where do differences begin and what makes us understand each other sometimes while completely missing each other other times? Discover how Poland, though often perceived as linguistically uniform, actually sounds with many voices at once. Together, we'll create a cutout world filled with diverse characters and animals forming a miniature community. Their words will flow with regional expressions—perhaps Podlaskie 'O, tak o!', Silesian 'fest', Kashubian 'witómë', or phrases heard at home, in Bałuty courtyards, or online. The result will be a collective image of conversations.
