The 2026 Łódź Festival of Many Cultures is inspired by the figures of Marek Edelman – patron of the Dialogue Centre, the festival's organizing institution – and Alina Margolis-Edelman. Their biographies and values serve as inspiration to support human rights and oppose violence through art and ethics. As a roving festival, it creates space for encounters with lasting resonance and deeper reflection. The festival presents multiple equivalent perspectives as a gesture against simplified narratives. The program features a multi-vocal structure rooted in Łódź's locality, including performances based on the biographies of artists connected to the city.
