The world is undergoing constant upheaval. Languages, relationships, boundaries, ways of communication and experiencing reality are changing. It's increasingly difficult to find a fixed point. It's increasingly easy to lose orientation. Perhaps that's why we need art more than ever today. Not as an escape, but as a place of confrontation, experience and recovering sensitivity. The international theater festival Retroperspektywy, organized by Teatr CHOREA since 2010, creates a space for artists who are not afraid to take risks, experiment and push the boundaries of form. For theater, music, dance and performance that goes beyond aesthetics and attempts to touch what matters.
