Translators Festival Za Słowo

The festival program includes: translation workshops, author meetings, lectures, panel discussions, a walking tour, and debates. This year's festival guests include: Marie Šťastná – a contemporary Czech poet known for precise style and emotional depth, graduate of art history and culture at Ostrava University, based in Prague; Nora Bossong – a German writer, essayist and reporter who has received numerous literary awards including the Joseph-Breitbach-Preis (2020), Wilhelm-Lehmann-Preis (2020) and Thomas-Mann-Preis (2020); Dr. Anna Zalewska – a Polish Japanologist and translator specializing in classical Japanese literature, Buddhist texts and traditional culture including calligraphy, who studied in Warsaw and Kyoto; and Agata Te.
