A specter haunts the art world – the specter of artificial intelligence. Extreme emotions, anxious denial, and regression to figurative easel painting are the most common reactions, supported by the art market's inherently conservative nature. Against this backdrop, photographers stand out for being at the vanguard again, recognizing the potential of a new tool and grappling with the next stage in the camera apparatus's evolution. The exhibition "Halucynacje obrazu" examines the current state of Polish photography after AI. The invited artists present new works and experimental results, outlining the horizon of possible and critical responses to what is happening in photography, which once again experiences its latest death. Photographs, films, installations, and books are on display.
