A specter haunts the art world – the specter of artificial intelligence. Extreme emotions, anxious denial, and regression to figurative easel painting are the most common reactions, supported by a conservative art market. Against this backdrop, photographers stand out by once again being at the avant-garde, recognizing the potential of this new tool and grappling with the next stage in the evolution of the camera apparatus. The exhibition "Image Hallucinations" examines the current state of Polish photography after AI. Invited artists present new works and experimental results, outlining the horizon of possible and simultaneously critical responses to what is happening in photography, which is once again experiencing another death. The exhibition features photographs, films, and installations.
