"Imagine" - Exhibition Opening of Monika Dałek's Works at Galeria "Politechnika"

The works feature simplified human silhouettes, musical instrument motifs, and board game elements that serve as metaphors for communication, emotions, and coexistence. The exhibition title was inspired by John Lennon and Yoko Ono's song "Imagine" and its message of peace and community. The exhibition is an artistic voice of protest against violence, conflicts, and the breakdown of social bonds, while attempting to show that changing the world begins with relationships built between people every day. Monika Dałek (born 1981, Zgierz) completed her artistic education with an MA in Art in 2008 at the Faculty of Visual Education at the Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź. The artist's work has been exhibited at numerous shows, including "Between Yesterday and Tomorrow" at Stary Młyn.
