Katarina Gryvul Concert from the 'Interferencje' series in Ogród Pałacu Biedermanna

Katarina Gryvul uses live electronics, analog synthesizers, and spatial sound to create immersive soundscapes. She has performed at Lunchmeat Festival, Ephemere, Rewire, Ars Electronica, and Musikprotokoll. Her 2025 album 'Spomyn' blends traditional musical motifs with experimental techniques, resulting in a dark, dense sonic landscape. Following the performance, Dr. Justyna Anders-Morawska, a sound researcher and adjunct lecturer at the Faculty of International Studies and Political Science at UŁ, will discuss the artist's work. Her research focuses on the politics of the audioshere and how urban soundscapes reveal relations of power, planning, and participation.
