A solo performance based on Sándor Márai's "Księga ziół" (Book of Herbs), written, directed, and performed by Anna Seniuk. Called a "stand-up on sitting down" by Seniuk, this fully original theatrical piece is an analysis of the actress's artistic journey and life experiences. Inspired by Márai's reflective work—a modern herbal remedy for the soul and heart—Seniuk uses this form as a starting point for a personal and moving narrative. Translation of Márai's prose by Feliks Netz (Wydawnictwo Czytelnik, 2003).
