Księży Młyn… through colors, words, shapes. An event for people with visual impairment at Pałac Herbsta Museum

The Gallery of Old Art currently presents the exhibition 'School of Looking. City.' The exposition encourages wandering, observation, and treating urban squares, streets, and courtyards as if they were reading material. It focuses on ways of capturing, experiencing, and understanding urban landscapes. One of the guiding figures in this narrative is the flâneur – an attentive observer who walks through streets, peers into windows, enters courtyards, and registers what is disappearing. In his text 'The Art of Walking,' writer and translator Franz Hessel writes that 'Deep down, each of us is somewhat of a vagabond who from time to time wishes to forget the unpleasant reasons for his various movements and move about for no reason at all.' Hessel recommends strolling through one's own neighborhood, so we invite you to wander through Księży Młyn.
