Concert led by Witold Paprocki showcasing the broad sonic possibilities of the organ – from music full of contrasts and virtuosity to more introspective works. The evening opens with J.S. Bach's Italian Concerto, followed by W.A. Mozart's Andante. The program also features works by Krzysztof Grzeszczak, Jehan Alain, and Felix Mendelssohn, as well as Mozart's Fantasy in F minor. The concert concludes with Pierre Pincemaille's "Sortie improvisée." Michał Kocot is a graduate of the Academy of Music in Kraków, where he studied organ and harpsichord. He also studied in Freiburg, Stuttgart, and Katowice. He is a laureate of numerous organ competitions in Poland and abroad, including first prize at the Leoš Janáček International Organ Competition in Brno and the Bachpreis award.
