Meeting with Krzysztof Jurecki at Galeria Willa

The album contains 161 photographs, including images of the art history student community centered around the Scientific Circle and the Photography Student Agency at UJ, as well as photographs from student strikes at UJ in February and November 1981. The collection also includes works documenting infrastructural neglect and social transformations. The second part of the album features unpublished letters from that decade – correspondence with leading figures in Polish photography and art, including Jerzy Lewczyński, Zofia Rydet, Andrzej Strumiłło, and Zbigniew Libera. The meeting will be an opportunity to discuss new contexts of Polish photography from the 1980s. For more information, visit Miejska Galeria Sztuki w Łodzi.
