Museum visit and creative workshops. What can and should you do in a museum? These classes show children that a museum is a place where you can discover stories, view interesting objects, ask questions, and learn mindfulness together. Behavioral rules are presented as aids to visiting, not as a list of prohibitions. This keeps exhibits safe while allowing everyone to peacefully learn their histories. The instructor works with children to create a code of good museum visitors using puzzles, rhymes, games, and activities. Children discover that museums offer many activities – looking, asking, reading, discovering, talking, and using educational materials – as long as it's done with care for the objects and other people.
