Museum Under the Magnifying Glass - Concentration Workshops for Children 4-9 Years Old at the Archaeological and Ethnographic Museum

During family workshops, participants will learn about the work of a conservator—discovering what tools are used and what methods and materials are employed to restore artifacts. You'll see the condition in which archaeological finds arrive at the museum and learn about the process of their preservation. In the practical part, children and their guardians will try their hand at conservation work by assembling broken ceramic vessels. This is an excellent exercise in concentration, precision, and patience, as well as an opportunity to feel like real conservators.
