Museum Under the Magnifying Glass - Concentration Workshops for Children 4-9 Years at the Museum of Archaeology and Ethnography

During the meeting, children will view photographs and selected clothing items, trying to guess their historical period. We will explore how people dressed in the Stone Age, what clothing looked like for ancient warriors from the area of present-day Łódź before the city was founded, what knights wore on their heads, and whether children in villages 100 years ago wore shoes. We will investigate the materials used to make historical clothing. Together we will search for similarities and differences between costumes. The workshops will be engaging and sensory in nature – participants will be able to touch, view, and analyze various materials. At the end, we will arrange costumes in chronological order.
