Best of the Worst: Sarnie żniwo (screening with lecture and discussion) at Kino NCKF EC1

A cult production directed by Bartosz Walaszek. Pan Andrzej, a small-time smuggler with big ambitions, comes into possession of mysterious statuettes that allegedly grant absolute power. The problem is that a whole array of shady characters are on the same trail: from Angry Snake to Titanic Janusz. A race begins where everyone wants to seize the artifacts, and the path to the goal leads through brawls, betrayals, and bad decisions made with complete conviction. "Sarnie żniwo" is the essence of the ZF Skurcz film studio: cheap, fast, without limits, and with ideas that shouldn't work—yet they do. It's cinema that parodies action films while building its own completely absurd world, where Bruce Lee neighbors a Polish housing block, and an epic adventure begins.
