Official Opening of Łódź Neon Gallery in Pasaż Margaret Thatcher

Neons from iconic Łódź cinemas will light up the city anew! The Łódź Neon Gallery has been created in Pasaż Margaret Thatcher, behind Mediateka MeMo, between Moniuszki and Tuwima streets. The gallery will feature 14 illuminated signs, including recreated neons from legendary cinemas such as Polesie, Bałtyk, Zachęta, and Włókniarz. The project commemorates disappearing art house cinemas and preserves their distinctive visual identity elements. Neons were not only advertisements but also important features of the urban landscape. Event details: Location: Pasaż Margaret Thatcher, between Moniuszki and Tuwima streets in Łódź. Schedule: 20:00 – event opening with DJ, 21:00 – official neon illumination.
