Curatorial Tour of the Exhibition "40 Treasures for the 40th Anniversary of the Museum of Cinematography"

The Museum of Cinematography in Łódź invites you to a curatorial tour of the exhibition "40 Treasures for the 40th Anniversary of the Museum of Cinematography," where visitors will discover the behind-the-scenes creation of this jubilee exhibition. Curators will present the exhibition's concept and explain how the displayed objects were selected. During the tour, participants will learn what guided representatives from the film, science, and culture worlds in choosing their "treasures" from the museum's extensive collection of over 90,000 artifacts. The tour offers a personal perspective from filmmakers and cinema researchers, providing deeper insight into the collection's significance for Polish cinema history.
