"Patrzą" - Opening of Aleksandra Kwapiszewska's Exhibition at Galeria "Politechnika"

Various eyes will be looking - those of mammals, birds, and reptiles. Sometimes with reproach, sometimes with full understanding, and sometimes with joy. The theme of vision/looking, transposed into an animal context, attempts to blur the boundary between humans and animals. After all, we all have feelings that are visible in our eyes. About the artist: Aleksandra Kwapiszewska, a native of Łódź, is a graduate of UŁ in Germanic Philology and postgraduate studies at the Łódź ASP in the field of Creating Paintings and Drawings. Her works are created mainly in acrylic technique, in a style balancing between realism and symbolism – a combination of nature and figuration with an interest in what lies beneath the surface. The compositions are often sparse and slightly minimalist.
