P.G.R. - Native Jazz Trio (PL/SW/US)

The second musical event of the first Jazz Festival "Zgierz podszyty Zgierzem" features P.G.R. - Native Jazz Trio (PL/SW/US), a project that promotes the culture of different regions of the world through the lens of jazz music. Each musician invites listeners to their musical home by sharing and presenting the music in which they grew up. Listening to jazz, we travel to the willow-lined banks of the Vistula, picturesque Swedish villages, or the western coast of the USA in Los Angeles. You will hear distinctly outlined blues, harmonies established by standards, and swing! American pianist Luis Durra will be responsible for conveying this music. Minimalist melodies and nostalgic harmony characterize Scandinavian jazz—a coolness that allows us to forget and reflect.
