A recital featuring songs and arias from operas by G. Donizetti, V. Bellini, and G. Verdi. Performers: Joanna Woś – coloratura soprano, Anna Liszewska – piano. Joanna Woś is an outstanding Polish singer specializing in Italian bel canto opera roles. A graduate of the Łódź Academy of Music and winner of major vocal competitions in Poland and Europe. She received the Basque Prize at the International Vocal Competition in Bilbao in 1986 and was subsequently engaged as a soloist at Teatr Wielkiego in Łodzi, debuting in the title role of Lucia di Lammermoor.
