The first concert of the I Festival 'Zgierz podszyty jazzem'. 'Music of Buena Vista' is a unique musical project by Roland Abreu & The Cuban Latin Jazz that takes listeners on a journey through Cuban music styles – from traditional African roots to modern combinations of Caribbean rhythms with jazz. Fresh, original arrangements of classic pieces associated with the legendary Buena Vista Social Club will be performed. Lineup: ROLAND ABREU - bassist, composer and leader of The Cuban Latin Jazz. Born in Havana, he graduated from Conservatorio de Música Guillermo Tomás. Living in Poland since 2012. Winner of numerous jazz competitions and participant of festivals in Europe, Asia and Cuba. Has collaborated with Bobby Carcassés, Luis Nubióla, Klazz Broth and others.
