Create your own platter, plate, or ceramic piece by hand, decorated with plant impressions pressed into soft clay. Your creation will be fired in a ceramic kiln. At the next session, you'll embellish your finished piece with iron oxides and rutile to add color and enhance the textures and details. A transparent glaze will provide a polished, aesthetic finish. For adults, both beginners and experienced ceramic artists. Safe, non-toxic iron oxides will be used. First meeting on 11.06 at 5:00 PM: model your self-designed ceramic vessel from clay.
