Sambodrom - Łódź will dance to the rhythm of Samba on Piotrkowska

On August 8, 2026, Piotrkowska Street will fill with samba rhythms, colorful costumes and the atmosphere of Rio de Janeiro's carnival. Sambodrom will combine live music, dance, capoeira performances and a parade through the center of Łódź. The parade will be led by Bateria Samby Batucady – a group of musicians playing traditional Brazilian percussion instruments whose dynamic, pulsating rhythms will set the pace for the entire event. The program will also feature performances by dancers in striking costumes, a vocalist from Brazil, and capoeira demonstrations that combine elements of acrobatics, dance and martial arts. Sambodrom stands out with its open street event format where there is no division between stage and audience – everyone can participate.
