35 mm Film Screening: "Przypadek" directed by Krzysztof Kieślowski at Muzeum Kinematografii

We invite you to a screening of the film "Przypadek" from the original 35 mm print, one of the most famous Polish "half-length" films. "Przypadek", written and directed by Krzysztof Kieślowski (1981, 122') Witek, a medical student from Łódź, decides to take a leave from university after his father's death and travel to Warsaw. He arrives late at the station and misses the departing train; Witek attempts to jump into a car. From that moment, his fate unfolds in three possible scenarios. In the first, he successfully jumps aboard and meets an old communist on the train, under whose influence he later pursues a career as an activist in a communist youth organization.
