About this event
The ensemble was founded in 2011 by Siergiej Wowkotrub, a virtuoso violinist and leader from Ukraine who has lived in Poland since 1992. He is currently the first violinist and concertmaster of Filharmonia Częstochowskiej. The quartet's extensive repertoire includes gypsy swing standards inspired by Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grappelli, as well as well-arranged popular and film music hits. Their fresh and original approach to jazz and entertainment music has gained them a wide audience, with concerts presented as true musical spectacles with carefully crafted dramaturgy and extraordinary atmosphere. Siergiej is accompanied on stage by Sebastian Ruciński (guitar) and Tomasz Wójcik (guitar).
