Stare Polesie - Once There Was a Forest. Just west of Piotrkowska Street, the Dzielnica Wiązowa neighborhood began developing in the 1860s, today known as Stare Polesie. A settlement of slanted streets and courtyards, a place of contrasts, full of local character. Built from brick and urban legends. Patiently waiting to be discovered. What once stood on these grounds? What are the most emblematic buildings of this neighborhood? Which street is the oldest? And why is Stare Polesie on the map so defiant and unruly?
